Elvis Aaron Presley

He became one of the most famous people in his 21 years.

He was born on January 8, 1935 in the city of Tupelo in the US state of Mississippi.

He had a twin, Jesse Garon, who was born half an hour later but already dead. The parents were Vernon Presley and Gladys Presley, who came from poor backgrounds. His father, Vermont, was sentenced in 1938 to two years for forging a bill. His mother was forced to move out and traveled with Elvis throughout the family. This created an unnatural fixation on the mother.

At school he was shy, shy and quiet. Already in the first grade he began to sing in the morning prayers. With the song Old Shep, he made a great impression on his teacher and entered the singing competition. The competition took place in 1945 where he sang this song and finished fifth. He got his first guitar on his 11th birthday. From the beginning, his uncle helped him and he also constantly listened to blues and country recordings. He honed his great musical hearing. Since 1950, he has practiced guitar regularly under the direction of Jesse Lee Denson. During his studies, he built up his appearance (he kept chops and hardened his hair with Vaseline and oil).

He was first in the recording studio in 1953 at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennesee. This study was owned by Sam Phillips, and Presly's talent was first noticed by Sam's secretary.

The first song to be heard on Memphis Radio was That's All Right, Mama on July 7th. 1954. The second song was Good Rockin 'Tonight along with I Don't Care if the Sun Don't Shine.

In 1955, Elvis was taken over by Tom Parker and joined RCA Recosrds. The first song was the Heartbreak Hotel in 1956 and sold over 1,000,000 copies. He began appearing on television. The first film was Love Me Tender and the best films include Jailhouse Rock and King Creole.

Elvis enlisted in the war in 1958 and was stationed in Friedberg, Germany. His mother died at the age of only 46. During his military service, he met his future wife, Priscilla Beaulieu. She was then 14 years old. He also started doing karate, which became his hobby.

In the following years he made films and released albums. He managed to marry Priscilla Beaulieu on 1.5. 1967. Their daughter Lisa was born on 1.2. 1968. In October 1973 he divorced Priscilla. He begins to gain weight and uses medication. He still performs and between 1969 and 1977 he makes 1,094 sold-out performances. He sold 4 shows in a row at Madison Square Garden in New York. He was the first to succeed.

In 1976, his girlfriend became Ginger Alden, and in 1977 he asked for her hand. In the bathroom on the floor, August 16, 1977, Elvis finds Ginger dead. He died at the age of 42. His death provoked a lot of speculation and stories. The official version of Death leans towards a heart attack.

Elvis Graceland's Memphis headquarters became a museum after his death and is the most visited place in the United States after the White House.

She has her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
