Garfield Cat Day

It always falls on June 19 every year.

This day celebrates the first edition of the comic book Garfield on June 19, 1978.

Garfield is a fictional character of a thick cynical orange cat created by Jim Davis. Garfield loves lasagna and coffee and hates raisins and shares. His motivation is food because he likes and does not want to work much. Garfield's favorite activity is sleep. They attack the spiders with a newspaper and pull the pants off their pants and spread the bag. Scratches every new piece of furniture. He suffers from depression and a bad mood and is almost never satisfied. He has his theories about the world and sees everything pessimistically.

Garfield was born on June 19, 1978 in the kitchen of Mamma Leoni, an Italian restaurant. The restaurant owner had to choose between Garfield or shut down the restaurant due to lack of pasta. He sold Garfield to an animal shop. When John arrived at the store on August 19, 1978, he chose Garfield. Jon Arbuckle is owner of Garfield and also Odie.

Odie is an indeterminate dog who is kind but stupid. Odie is a frequent target of Garfield's various jokes.

Jon Arbuckle is the owner of Garfield. She has no authority at Garfield and Odie and endures all their Canadian jokes. She dresses extravagantly and never cleans up in her fridge. He's in love with Garfield's vet Liz.

Dr. Liz Wilson is Garfield's veterinarian Jon loves.

Pooky is a Garfield toy. It is a brown teddy bear with pink paws. She sleeps with Garfield in bed.

Jim Davis named the cat after his grandfather (James Garfield Davis). Jim Davis grew up on his grandfather's farm in Indiana.
