Horseradish Moon
It always

Horseradish
is a plant of the crucifer family. It is widespread in Europe and Asia. Horseradish
grows in North Africa, North America or New Zealand and is grown as a
seasoning. Only horseradish is grown in the Czech Republic.

country of origin is considered Moldova and southern Ukraine and grows in the
valleys of larger rivers. Horseradish in the wild grows in deep soils in damp
and hospitable places along reservoirs and watercourses.
Horseradish
grows to a height of 50 - 120 cm. Horseradish is grown as root vegetables and
is used as a side dish (sausage) or added to some drinks (Bloody Mary).
Horseradish can also be used as a remedy for poorly healing wounds, inflamed
joints, flu, pneumonia, and can also be used to prevent various diseases (also
against cancer). Horseradish stimulates appetite and has a positive effect on
the digestive tract, facilitates coughing, treats airway inflammation and has a
mild diuretic effect. Horseradish is good to be taken regularly due to the high
content of vitamin C but it also helps prevent diseases caused by bacteria,
viruses, protozoa and fungi. Horseradish is useful as a supportive agent in the
treatment of jaundice, inflammation of the liver, protracted urinary tract
infections and intestines. Horseradish does not contain any calories and fat.
Sailors
used it against scurvy due to vitamin C. He was considered an aphrodisiac.
Horseradish
contains vitamin C, provitamin A - carotenes, minerals (iron, magnesium,
calcium, phosphorus, potassium), antibacterial and phytonocidal (plant
antibiotic) substances. In 100g horseradish is 50 mg of vitamin C. Horseradish
contains mustard oils, glycosides, sinapine.
