International Day of Solidarity with the People of Palestine

It always falls on November 29th every year.

The United Nations announced this day in 1977. In 1947, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 181 (II), known as the resolution on division. This was to create two states, both Jewish and Arabic. Only one state of Israel has emerged from these states.

The Palestinian people have more than 8 million people and live mainly on the Palestinian territory. It inhabited Israel since 1967 including East Jerusalem.

The aim is to raise awareness of the country's crisis situation and to make peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. The question of Palestine remains unresolved and the people have not reached their inalienable rights to national independence and the right to return to their homes and property from where they have been displaced.
