Lip Celebration Day

It always falls on March 16 every year.

This day was created by Thomas and Ruth Roy Wellcat. It was designed to appreciate the lips that add beauty to the face and smile. According to research, lips lose up to 10 times more moisture than any other part of the body. Therefore, it is very important to take care of your lips.

Lips are the visible part of the body that humans and some animals have (muzzle, lips). It is a soft moving part that is responsible for the articulation of sound and speech. The skin usually has 3–5 cell layers that are very thin when compared to normal skin on the body.

Lips or mouths play a big role in people's lives. Thanks to them, we can communicate, eat, drink, laugh, express emotions, play instruments, kiss.

There are several kinds of lips (thick, thin, full, narrow).

The lips are 100 times more sensitive than the fingers, so kissing is pleasant. Kissing is important because pheromones and biological information are shared that help in choosing a partner.

Lips are considered to be an erogenous zone because, like nipples, they have the highest density of nerve endings. They are just as unique as fingerprints. There are no people who have the same lips. They also never sweat because they do not have sweat glands and therefore can dry quickly. Therefore, it is very important to protect them from the sun and take care of them.
