Programmers Day

It always falls on 13 September each year. In the leap year falls on 12 September.

Russian programmers Valentin Balt and Michael Cherviakov of Parallel Technologier collected signatures in 2002 in the hope that the Russian government will announce Programmers Day. Only in 2009 the Russian Ministry of Mass Media and Communications announced as an official holiday. This law was signed in honor of computer programmers by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on September 11, 2009.

This day is an internationally professional holiday recognized by many technology companies and programming companies.

Programmers Day is celebrated on the 256th day of the year based on a binary code. The number is selected because this value is well known to programmers. This is the number of different values that can be represented by an 8-bit byte and is also the highest of two, which is less than 365 (days a year). When translated into binary code, the day is 1 0000 0000.

The modern world is made by computers, technology and software, but it requires a programmer or a team of programmers to solve code problems, cloud security, and intensive development projects. Programmers change the world one by one. In today's civilized world, there is no man who does not benefit from the programmer's tools.
