World Day of Speech

It always falls on March 15th every year.

In 2015, Simon Gibson launched this day at the Athens Democratic Forum. The idea was to create a free database for present and historical speech. Speeches can change the world (politically, socially, in art, business, religion) and play a major role in maintaining society and shaping change.

The first World Day of Speech took place on 15 March 2016 (in Athens, Singapore, Tawau and Moscow). In 2017, several events took place in the 1980s.

Many events are broadcast live via WSD TV. The non-profit organization World Speech Day (WSD) wants to ensure that unexpected voices are heard. Therefore, they use a network of worldwide live events to document and broadcast speech.

The goal is to reach unexpected voices everywhere. Everyone has some idea. There is one voice that can change everything. Celebrating power of speech, sharing ideas, changing lives, and bringing together communities. It is a celebration of speech and speech through a number of live-talking events throughout the world.

This year more than 100 nations will be involved across the globe. The most important is the use of a unique power of expression to explore new ideas.

This day celebrates speeches through live-talking events around the world.

It does not matter who you are, but you have the potential to inspire great changes with your voice and your ideas, thoughts. Each of us can change the world, and speech is a powerful tool to achieve this.
